Healthy Diet Namkeen/Mixture Recipe

  • 2 Cup Cornflakes (Dried)
  • 2 cups Puffed Rice
  • 2 Cup Poha (Dried)
  • ½ Cup Peanuts
  • ½ cup Roasted Black Gram/ chane.
  • 1/3 Cup Cashew
  • 1 /2 cup Raisins
  • ½ cup Almonds
  • 8-10 Curry Leaves
  • 1 tsp Asafoetida
  • ½ Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp dry Mango powder
  • 1/3 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • 3-4 Tablespoon Oil
  • Take a pan or kadhai, heat 3 tablespoon oil in a pan .
  • Add Peanuts and cashew,  almonds in the oil and fry them for 5 minutes till they turn golden brown.
  • Add 8-10 curry leaves and fry them for 10 seconds. Don’t Over fry curry leaves.
  • Now add dried cornflakes and dried poha, puffed rice and roasted chana to the pan and roast them for 5 minutes. Don’t Cover the Lid of the pan. It will add moisture to your mixture.
  • Add ½ teaspoon red chili powder, 1/3 teaspoon turmeric powder, mango powder, asafoetida andsalt as per taste.
  • Mix well all the ingredients well and again roast all the mixture for 5 minutes.
  • Switch off the flame and remove mixture in a bowl and let the mixture get cool down.

Store your diet mixture in a covered jar and enjoy your diet mixture with tea and juices.
